Chatuchak Weekend Market

Visiting: Chatuchak Weekend Market

Duration: 8 hours

If your cruise ship is arriving during the weekend, then why not visit Thailand’s largest market at Chatuchak. This sprawling market has more than 8000 stalls, include Thai handicrafts, antiques, clothes, furniture and food. Everything you could ever want or need!

Your Chatuchak Weekend Market tour begins with a pickup from your port of call and transfer in our air-conditioned vehicle to Chatuchak. Here your guide will provide you with plenty of tips and advice on how to shop “Thai-style”, and explain the different sections of the market and what is sold there.

You will then have plenty of time to explore and shop at your leisure, discovering goods and produce you probably never knew existed! Don’t forget to stop for lunch at one of the food stalls and sample authentic Thai food and drinks, and remember to be back at the meeting point indicated by your guide for the return to your port of call.

NOTE: This tour is only possible for cruise ships arriving between 4am and 9am. Please note that if your ship docks at Leam Chabang, it takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours one way between the port and Central Bangkok.

Lunch is not included in the cost of the tour, but we will suggest options for local Thai restaurants and provide ample time for you to have a sit-down lunch.
