Temple of Artemis
The first stop is the Temple of Artemis, dating back to 6th century BC and listed as one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World. It was built by the Lycian King, Kreisos, and while some of its ruins are now housed in London's British Museum, many of its large marble columns are still scattered across the surrounding swamp lands, allowing you to appreciate its former grandeur.

You will also have the opportunity to visit the Terrace Houses, once home to Ephesus' rich and famous. With heated flooring and their own private hamaam baths, they were as luxurious as any modern home today, featuring ornate tiling and beautiful mosaic flooring.

House of the Virgin Mary

It is now an important pilgrimage site for people form all walks of life and boasts impressive panoramic views across the surrounding area.

St. John Basilica
Believed to have been built upon the remains of John the Apostle, St John Basilica sits in the center of Selcuk and its architecture was designed on Istanbul's Church of the Holy Apostle. It was built in 548 AD and was once one of the region's most sacred churches.
